The popular transport company has announced the launch of its new boat options, offering users the opportunity to access more off-the-beaten-track places. These boats will be available in some of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations, providing unique experiences for travelers.
Paris: Discover the City of Lights with Uber Cruise
In line with the upcoming Olympics, Uber has introduced Uber Cruise in Paris. From 12 July to 3 August, tourists can enjoy a free one-hour trip along the Seine River. This scenic adventure will allow guests to marvel at iconic landmarks such as Notre Dame, the Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower while sipping on a complimentary glass of wine.
Venice: Navigate the Venetian Lagoon with Uber Limo Boat
Although cruise ships are now restricted in Venice due to overtourism, Uber has decided to offer an alternative way to explore this Italian city. Starting from July, visitors can summon an Uber Limo Boat through their existing app. These boats, which can accommodate up to six people, will be available from 8 am to 8 pm and will cost approximately €120 per trip. With nearly 200 pick-up and drop-off points across Venice, travelers can easily explore the beauty of the Venetian Lagoon at their convenience.
Greek Islands: Uber Boat Expands to Athens, Corfu, and Santorini
After a successful launch in Mykonos last summer, Uber Boat is expanding its services to other Greek destinations. From July, visitors to Athens, Corfu, and Santorini can now use the Uber app to hire a boat and explore the pristine beaches and charming tavernas that are often difficult to reach by land. Operating from 9 am to 9 pm, the prices for these boat trips will vary by location, with minimum fares starting from €200 per boat.
Ibiza: Sail in Style with Uber Yacht
Ibiza, known as the party capital of Europe, often comes with a hefty price tag. However, Uber is offering a more accessible luxury experience with its Uber Yacht. Starting from August, up to eight people can enjoy an eight-hour trip on a luxurious Sunseeker Yacht. The package includes a personal skipper, a complimentary bottle of Champagne, and locally sourced artisan snacks. Priced at €1,600 in total, the experience departs from Ibiza Town at 12 pm and even includes transfers from hotels and residences to the jetty.
